Ziad Bitar

Ziad Bitar has a diverse work experience. Ziad started their career as a Co-Owner of Cygnus from 2004 to 2007. Ziad then worked as a Financial Controller at J. Abouchalache & Sons from 2000 to 2010. After that, they joined KPMG as a Supervisor Auditor from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, they became an MBA graduate from Queen's School of Business. Ziad then worked as a Senior Consultant at Continental Bank of Canada from 2012 to 2013. Following that, they joined TD as a Senior Analyst, Commercial Banking from 2013 to 2014. Ziad then transitioned to the National Bank of Canada where they held the positions of Manager Commercial Banking, Technology Group from 2014 to 2017 and later became a Senior Advisor from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working as the Director of Compliance and operations support at Investissement Québec, starting in 2019.

Ziad Bitar has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, which they obtained in the years 2000-2004. Additionally, they hold a Master in Management degree from ESCP Business School, as well as an MBA degree from ESA Business School, both earned in the years 2004-2006. Ziad furthered their education by completing an MBA program at Queen's University from 2011-2012. Ziad Bitar also has a certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants.
