Brett Diaz

Brett Diaz has comprehensive work experience in various research and leadership roles. Brett is currently working at CAMH as the Lead of Knowledge Mobilization Research & Learning Enrichment, where they focus on creating tailored products and consulting with stakeholders for inclusive and measurable projects. Prior to this, they worked at St. Michael's Hospital as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow II, managing projects, leading a multidisciplinary team, and researching compassionate care. Brett also worked at Penn State University as a Graduate Researcher & Lecturer, conducting a longitudinal study and building participant networks in health policy implementation. Additionally, they have experience as a Financial Wellness Professional, a Graduate Teaching Associate, a Research Fellow, and a Research Assistant in various academic departments. Overall, Brett Diaz brings a diverse skill set and expertise in research methodologies, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Brett Diaz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Linguistics and Political Science from California State University-San Bernardino in 2013. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Composition and Applied Linguistics from the same institution. In 2016, they enrolled at Penn State University, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Linguistics in 2021.
