Adam Huys is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and cell technologies, currently serving as the Director of the Centre for Advanced Therapeutic Cell Technologies at CCRM since September 2022. Prior to this role, Adam held various positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including Senior Manager and Manager of Process Development from June 2019 to September 2022. Adam also worked as a Principal Scientist in Upstream Process Development and Productions at Brammer Bio from August 2018 to June 2019. Adam's academic career includes a post-doctoral associate position at the University of Florida from March 2015 to August 2018 and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Saskatchewan from September 2014 to March 2015. Adam Huys earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Saskatchewan, where a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology was also obtained.
