Florian Krätke

Sahel Project Lead at Centre for Disaster Protection

Florian Krätke is currently serving as the Sahel Project Lead at the Centre for Disaster Protection. Previously, he worked as a PFM Consultant at Oxford Policy Management, where he was involved in providing technical assistance, analysis, and advisory on budget policy and planning. Prior to that, he served as an Economist in the Budget Directorate at the Government of the Republic of South Sudan and as a Junior Policy Officer at ECDPM. Florian's diverse professional experience includes roles such as Research Assistant at the International Labour Organization, Institutional Development Advisor at VSO Cameroon, and Global Marketing Management Intern at Philips. He holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Economic Geography from Utrecht University.
