Massimo Magliocca

Massimo Magliocca is an experienced Clinical Scientist and Project Leader at the Centre for Human Drug Research since September 2023. Previously, Massimo held a trainee position in Clinical Pharmacology at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd from September 2022 to August 2023, contributing to six Clinical Pharmacology Phase 1 studies through various phases including study set-up, conduct, analysis, and finalization. Prior to this, Massimo conducted a Master's thesis in Immunology Pharmacology at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, focusing on in vivo and in vitro pharmacological techniques and experimental design in a BSL2 laboratory. Massimo began their professional journey with an internship at the Research Group of Biopharmacy at Universität Basel in March 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Drug Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, both from the University of Basel.
