Junior Researcher At Centro De Ciências Do Mar at Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR)

Alexandros Tsakogiannis is a Junior Researcher at the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Aquaculture Research Group (Aquagroup), both positions held since September 2022. In addition, Alexandros serves as a Biology Educator for the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs since August 2020. Previous experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher, Researcher PhD Student, and Research Scientist at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research from November 2012 to 2020, as well as a PhD Student at the University of Crete from March 2013 to May 2018. Alexandros holds a PhD in Genome Sciences/Genomics from the University of Crete (2013-2018), a Master’s degree in Environmental Biology-Ecological Design from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2009-2011), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Crete (2004-2008). Additionally, Alexandros completed specialization courses in Sexual Education and Consulting and Career Counseling at the University of the Aegean and School of Pedagogical and Technological Education, respectively, from September 2021 to June 2022.
