Scott Wheway

Scott has a wealth of experience as a senior customer-facing business leader with a mix of deep retail and consumer expertise. He has considerable knowledge gained in both the retail and insurance sectors, together with a strong understanding of operating within highly regulated businesses. Scott worked in retail for 27 years both in the UK and internationally. He is the former chief executive officer of Best Buy Europe (retail services), director of The Boots Company plc, managing director and retail director of Boots the Chemist at Alliance Boots plc and a director of the British Retail Consortium. He formerly held a number of senior executive positions at Tesco plc (retail services), including chief executive of Tesco in Japan, and served as non-executive director of Aviva plc until December 2016.
