Aleix Freixa

Aleix Freixa has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Aleix started their career at LAINCO, S.A. as a Project Engineer in the field of phytosanitary and pharmaceutical products. Aleix then joined Alcon Laboratories, Inc. where they served as a Group Leader and later as a Project Engineer/Process Engineer, responsible for monitoring project quality, costs, and schedules. After that, they joined CPQ Ingenieros as a Chemical Engineer/Project Manager, leading technical, economic, and planning aspects of projects. Following this, Aleix joined EcoMotion Biodiesel S.A. as a Technical Manager, overseeing Maintenance, Engineering, and Occupational Risk Prevention areas. Their responsibilities included budgeting, maintaining technical and legal documentation, and developing strategic proposals for the group. Currently, Aleix is working at Centrient Pharmaceuticals as the Global Lead Engineering, focusing on improving the CAPEX process, implementing best practices, and leading Engineering and Maintenance initiatives across the organization.

Aleix Freixa completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 1999 and 2004, with a focus on chemistry and biochemistry. In 2004, they also had a brief internship in Fine Chemistry at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques. In 2009, Aleix pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management from UOC - Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, where they are currently enrolled.
