Drew Shaw

Drew Shaw has worked as a Software Engineer at Centripetal since December 2018. In this role, they have developed, maintained, and tested a microservices framework for a web application that administers rulegates. Drew has also achieved comprehensive generative testing of the CRUD interface.

Prior to their role at Centripetal, Drew worked as a Software Engineer at Fannie Mae from October 2016 to December 2018. During this time, they developed the EarlyFunding site, an Angular site for lenders to submit requests for early funding. Drew was responsible for displaying data obtained from Spring Rest on the display, developing karma tests, components, services, classes, interfaces, and templates for the Angular. Drew also developed Spring Rest microservices to supply the frontend with user data and process user inputs. Drew utilized Spring JPA for ORM and Spring security to secure microservices with JWT, SAML, OAuth, and API key. Drew worked in an agile environment, performing activities like code reviews, DAT meetings, refinement meetings, and tasking.

Prior to their role at Fannie Mae, Drew worked as a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra (formerly Mahindra Satyam) from September 2013 to February 2016. In this role, they were involved in end-to-end website development, resulting in a fully functional help website with content editable by domain experts. Drew used JavaScript, Google Closure, and JQuery for dynamic content and utilized the existing internal authentication mechanism on the servlets.

Drew Shaw earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2012.
