Head of Marketing Operations at Centripetal Networks

Maricka Burke-Keogh has extensive experience in marketing and digital marketing roles. Maricka is currently working as the Head of Marketing Operations at Centripetal since November 2022. Prior to this, they were the Marketing Lead at the European SharePoint, Office 365 & Azure Conference from 2021 to 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Maricka served as the Global Product Marketing Director at Genesys, specializing in industry-specific product marketing for AI solutions. Maricka also held the position of Head of Digital Marketing, AI Group at Genesys from 2015 to 2018, following the acquisition of Altocloud, where they worked as the Head of Digital Marketing.

Maricka is the Founder of Online Marketing in Galway (OMiG), a digital marketing focused network established in 2011 to share best practices and provide a knowledge-sharing space in Galway. Maricka also had additional contract roles as an External Interview Panelist for Digital Marketing Lecturing at Limerick Institute of Technology in 2015 and as an External Review Panelist for Programme Validation of Digital Marketing Degree at Athlone Institute of Technology in 2015.

Prior to that, Maricka worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at IMS Marketing from 2013 to 2015, where they were responsible for planning and implementing digital marketing strategies for clients. Maricka also served as a Marketing Manager at Enerit Ltd from 2011 to 2013, focusing on the management and development of online strategies to create international awareness.

Maricka's experience extends to guest speaking and lecturing engagements in digital marketing at the National University of Ireland, Galway from 2009 to 2012. Overall, they have a diverse background in marketing, digital marketing, and strategic marketing, with a focus on AI products and industry-specific marketing.

Maricka Burke-Keogh obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree, with a focus on Marketing, Business, and Entrepreneurship, from the University of Galway. Maricka completed this degree from 2004 to 2007.

In 2007, Maricka enrolled in University College Dublin and received a Master of Science in Marketing Practice (MSc) degree, specializing in Marketing and Business. Maricka completed this program in 2008.

Also in 2007, Maricka pursued an e-Marketing Certificate from The Marketing Institute of Ireland, focusing on online and digital marketing.

To enhance their digital marketing skills, Maricka pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute from 2012 to 2013.

Early in their career, Maricka earned the ECDL Advanced certification from Microsoft in 2003 and the HACCP certification from the Food Safety Authority of Ireland in 2001.
