Juan Carlos González

Juan Carlos González is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Councilor for Oregon Metro since November 2017, where representation includes District 4 encompassing Northern and Western Washington County. Major achievements include successfully referring and passing the 2019 Parks and Nature Bond Measure, raising $475 million for regional conservation and parks. Additionally, Juan has held the position of Director of Development and Communications at Centro Cultural de Washington County since May 2015, focusing on strategic fundraising and corporate partnerships. Previous experiences include internships at Mercy Corps and the office of US Senator Jeff Merkley, alongside roles in micro-finance research and administrative support. Juan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Government and Economics from Georgetown University.
