Albert Domingo

Albert Domingo, PhD, serves as an External Expert for the European Commission since December 2019 and has held the position of Head of Entrepreneurship at Universitat Pompeu Fabra since October 2010, where Albert designed the Start-UPFlama program, fostering over 120 projects and 30 startups. Additionally, Albert is an Associate Professor at multiple educational institutions, teaching subjects related to ICT management and technology in hospitality while also leading mentorship programs at EIT Urban Mobility. As CEO of UPF Ventures, Albert has successfully raised over €25 million for early-stage startup ecosystems and connected with over 100 DeepTech investors. Albert has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, previously holding CTO and COO roles at Parlem and AGGAROS, among others. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and additional credentials from prestigious institutions such as MIT and University of Cambridge.
