Michelle Lieu

Michelle Lieu is a Product Design and Testing Engineer at Centrotherm Eco Systems, LLC, where responsibilities include new product development for polypropylene flue gas vent systems, utilizing CREO for design and BOM creation since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, overseeing student assignments and conducting experiments in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing. Michelle also served as Supervisor/System Operator at WSP USA’s Traffic Management Center, reporting road incidents to the Department of Transportation. Early research experience includes work at Siena College and Penn State University focusing on particle distribution in materials. Michelle holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Chemical Sciences Track from Siena College.
