Art Diaz

Art Diaz has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on risk adjustment and Medicare programs. Currently, Diaz serves as the Vice President of Performance and Quality at Centrum Health. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Operations Officer and President of PopHealthCare Philippines, Inc. at PopHealthCare, where they managed risk adjustment activities and led operational teams across multiple states and the Philippines. Diaz also held the position of Medicare Product Innovation Director at Anthem, Inc., where they directed the Medicare Advantage product strategy, overseeing plans covering a large service area and implementing innovative supplemental benefits. Before that, they were the Director of the Risk Adjustment Program at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and the National Director of HCC Programs at Davita HealthCare Partners. Diaz also has experience in managing risk adjustment and Medicare Star programs at Healthcare Partners of Arizona and in revenue improvement and recovery at Blue Shield of California. Additionally, they founded Art Diaz Consulting, a healthcare consulting firm specializing in product and solution development for health plans and providers. Diaz's early experience includes serving as the Director of Marketing Services at HealthCare Partners and as the Director of Product Management for SecureHorizons at UnitedHealthcare.

Art Diaz attended the University of California, Davis from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Food Sciences. Art then pursued further education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 1990 to 1991, concentrating on Public Health - Health Services Organization.
