Dustin Whitney

Dustin Whitney is an experienced professional in the fields of data sciences and computational biology, currently serving as the Head of Data Sciences and Computational Biology at Century Therapeutics, Inc. since April 2024. Previously, Dustin held the position of Head of Computational Biology at Clade Therapeutics from June 2022 to April 2024 and progressed through various roles at bluebird bio from August 2018 to June 2022, culminating as Associate Director of Data Sciences. Earlier academic pursuits included a postdoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Dustin developed methods for protein design, and a postdoctoral position at the Medical College of Wisconsin, focusing on cell polarity proteins. Dustin earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
