Douglas DeBoer

Douglas DeBoer has worked in a variety of roles in the consumer, restaurant, and for-profit education sectors. Douglas began their career in 2005 as a Senior Brand Manager and Brand Manager for Lipton Tea USA at Unilever USA, where they had P&L responsibility for the $400+mil US Tea portfolio. In 2008, they became COO (Vice President Operations) for China and Senior Vice President of Global Product Strategy at EF Education First, where they grew sales from US$42mil to US$200+mil. In 2013, they became President & CEO of Domino's Pizza China, where they grew revenues from US$8mil to US$50mil run rate and expanded locations from 24 to 80 stores. In 2016, they became CEO of Daniang Dumplings Restaurant Group Ltd. at CVC Capital Partners Control Investment, where they stabilized the company and completed a trade sale in April 2017. In 2017, they became Board Member of Crystal Jade Culinary Concepts Holding (Great China) Limited and Global CEO of LCatterton Private Equity Control Investment. In 2019, they became Chairman of Modern Brands Holdings and Board Member of Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center. In 2020, they became Partner at CEO Coaching International and in 2022, they became Board Member of China F&B Group.

Douglas DeBoer has a background in finance and Chinese language. Douglas holds an MBA from The Wharton School, with a focus in Strategic Management. Douglas also holds a BA from the University of St. Thomas, with a major in Finance and Chinese Language, and a minor in Music. Additionally, they have studied Chinese Language at the University of International Business and Economics and the Harbin Institute of Technology.
