The team at Cepton is experienced in a variety of fields, including electrical and electronics engineering, optics, and computer science. The team's experience with lidar dates back to Velodyne Lidar, Inc., where the founder and CEO was the general manager of lidar and acoustic engineering. Other members of the team have worked at KLA, AEP Technology, Inc., and Stanford University.
