James Ahern

James Ahern is a seasoned sports science professional with extensive experience in strength and conditioning and sport science. Currently serving as the Head of Academy Sport Science at Doncaster Rovers FC and a Strength and Conditioning Coach at APOLLO TRAMPOLINE CLUB LIMITED, James also works as a Cover Supervisor at CER Education Recruitment and as a Girls ETC Strength and Conditioning Coach at Rotherham United Community Trust. Prior roles include Academy Lead Sport Scientist at Rotherham United Football Club and Academy Sport Scientist at Grimsby Town Football Club. James holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Exercise Physiology from Leeds Beckett University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of the West of England, supplemented by a solid foundation in Physical Education, Chemistry, and Biology from Swinton Community School.
