Vikas Upadhyaya

Vikas Upadhyaya is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and corporate finance. Currently serving as Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management since May 2019, Vikas also held the position of Senior Vice President at the same firm. Prior to this, Vikas was an Investment Professional at Apollo Global Management LLC from August 2016 to May 2019, contributing to the India Dedicated Fund (AION Capital Partners). Vikas gained further expertise as an Investment Professional at ADV Partners Limited between May 2015 and August 2016. Earlier experience includes a role as Chief Manager in Special Situations & Structured Finance at ICICI Bank from June 2008 to May 2015, where Vikas led the Special Situations Group, managing and restructuring distressed corporate assets. Vikas holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and is a CFA charterholder.
