Vignesh Ravi

Vignesh Ravi is an experienced professional in the field of computer science and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software at Cerebras Systems, focusing on large-scale parallel and distributed deep learning since July 2019. Vignesh has also held the position of GPGPU/Fabric Architect at Intel Corporation since July 2015, specializing in high-performance computing and interconnect/runtime development. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior GPU Engineer at A2Zlogix and a Senior Member of Technical Staff at AMD, where contributions were made to Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) software development and exascale computing projects. Vignesh's academic background includes a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, where research centered on parallel architectures, and earlier engineering education at PSG College of Technology.
