Byunghyun An

ByungHyun An has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. ByungHyun started their career at Fujitsu Korea as a Systems Engineer involved in financial system development. ByungHyun then moved on to Sun Microsystems as a Channel Sales Representative, where they supported partners and increased market momentum. After that, they joined Compaq Computer Corporation as a Channel Sales Representative, responsible for developing new partners and increasing market momentum for Compaq. ByungHyun then joined IBM Korea as a Sales Manager, leading the Infrastructure Solution business team and providing pre-consulting services for new emerging technologies. ByungHyun later joined Nuance Communications as a Regional Sales Leader for Korea and India, focusing on the automotive industry with AI technology. ByungHyun took responsibility for all Korea region business before the announcement of Automotive Spin-co. Currently, ByungHyun holds the role of Vice President - Korea at Cerence Inc., which is a spin-off company from Nuance Communications.

ByungHyun An holds a Master of Business Administration (IMBA) degree in the department of business administration from Sungkyunkwan University, obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Genetics from the same university, completing their undergraduate studies from 1986 to 1992.
