Danny Fennell

Danny Fennell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in systems and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Principal Systems Engineer and Principal Mechanical Engineer at Ceres since October 2021, Danny previously held the positions of Chief Engineer for Research and Product Development and Product Manager at Clean Cold Power from January 2020 to August 2021. Danny's earlier roles at Dearman encompassed Head of New Applications Engineering, Lead Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Engine Systems Engineer. Danny began a career in academia as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Birmingham, focusing on automotive engine combustion and aftertreatment systems from December 2010 to March 2014. Earlier experience includes positions as an Engineering Intern at Ricardo and a Mechanical Design Engineer at Goodrich, where critical contributions were made to significant projects. Danny holds a PhD and an MEng in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, both from the University of Birmingham.
