Oliver Greenwood PhD CPhys is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the field of surface analysis and electrochemistry. Currently serving as the Electrochemistry Research Team Lead and Principal Scientist at Ceres since January 2022, Oliver focuses on the characterization and development of advanced energy materials, thin films, interfaces, and catalysis. Prior roles include Group Leader for Surface Technology at the National Physical Laboratory from August 2019 to January 2022, and Technical Lead Physics and IP Coordinator at Thermo Fisher Scientific from January 2008 to August 2019, where Oliver managed R&D for surface analysis instrument development. Earlier career highlights include project management at Omicron NanoTechnology Ltd and electron optics design at Microsaic Systems. Oliver holds a PhD in Surface Plasma Chemistry from Durham University and a BSc with First Class Honours in Physics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
