Simon Bayley

Simon Bayley is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in industrialisation and production within electronics and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as the Cell & Industrialisation Tech Transfer Lead at Ceres since October 2017, Simon has held various roles, including Senior Industrialisation Engineer and Industrialisation Engineer. Prior to Ceres, Simon worked as a Production Engineer at Trend Control Systems and Thales, where responsibilities included technical support in high-volume manufacturing and the production of sophisticated aerospace products. Simon began a career at Eaton Corporation as a Project Engineer during an industrial placement, enhancing practical experience in fuel pump design for commercial aircraft. An educational foundation in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Brighton, complemented by a brief international engineering internship in Tokyo, showcases a solid technical background and commitment to continuous improvement in engineering practices.
