Bethany Kormos

Bethany Kormos has extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceutical research and computational chemistry. Bethany is currently the Director and Head of Computational Chemistry at Cerevel Therapeutics, a position they have held since 2023. Before that, they worked at Pfizer for many years, starting as a Senior Scientist in 2008 and progressing to roles such as Principal Scientist, Senior Principal Scientist, and finally Associate Research Fellow. Prior to their time at Pfizer, Bethany served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Wesleyan University from 2004 to 2008.

Bethany Kormos has a strong educational background in chemistry and biochemistry. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Mercyhurst University and earned a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, they proceeded to attend the University of Minnesota from 1998 to 2004. There, they pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry, specializing in their field of study. Bethany'seducational journey has focused on the study and research of chemistry and biochemistry.
