Hooman Amid

Hooman Amid is currently a Senior Research Engineer II and R&D Lab Manager at CertainTeed. Prior to this, Hooman worked at Saint-Gobain as an R&D Supervisor and a Senior Research Engineer, where Hooman contributed to the development of new products and successful management of CapEx projects. Hooman also has experience working in editorial roles and as a Licensing Intern. With a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University, Hooman brings a strong background in research and development in the nonwovens industry. Additionally, Hooman has teaching experience and a solid academic foundation in Textile Sciences and Engineering.
