Roy Palmer

Roy Palmer has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Roy'smost recent role was as the Head of IT Operations at Certsure LLP, where they were initially contracted to design and implement Office 365 for the organization and later promoted to head the IT department. In this role, they managed a team responsible for SAP CRM and Finance, built a high-performing network and server infrastructure team, and oversaw the development of a robust offsite disaster recovery solution. Roy also played a key role in the digital transformation team and managed the entire IT budget. Roy later became the Chair of the Operational Leadership team, responsible for aligning operational requirements with the organization's strategy. Prior to this, Roy held positions such as Interim IT Operations Director, Head of Global Infrastructure at Cognita Schools, Senior IT Technician at Look Ahead Care and Support, and Technical Change Manager at Rexam. Roy'sexpertise also includes roles such as Systems Administrator at Elsevier, IT Manager at The Crystal Healer, and Support Desk Representative at ABBEY NATIONAL PLP (UK) LIMITED and EDS Group.

Roy Palmer attended Gosfield School in Essex from 1979 to 1986. Roy did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study during their time there. In 2015, they obtained two additional certifications: MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) from Microsoft and MS (Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions) also from Microsoft.
