Jason Mottaz

Jason Mottaz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jason currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Cervélo, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Supply Chain at Cervélo from July 2018 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations and collaborated with peers to integrate supply chain perspectives into company strategy and decisions.

Before joining Cervélo, Jason worked as a Global Planning Manager at the company from August 2012 to July 2018. Jason was accountable for delivering the Sales and Operations Planning inputs, managing the purchasing plan, and developing annual supplier demand forecasts. During this time, they also managed the Purchasing, Warehouse, and Assembly teams, and oversaw the outsourcing of bike assembly to Taiwan.

Earlier in their career, Jason served as a Production Scheduler/Analyst at Cervélo from December 2007 to August 2012. In this role, they were responsible for shop floor control, production orders, and sales demand fulfillment. Jason also led the execution of annual physical inventory counts and cycle count programs at the Toronto site, and conducted supply and demand analytics.

Before joining Cervélo, Jason worked at Gandinnovations as an Inventory Controller II from July 2006 to December 2007. At Sherwin-Williams, they served as a Buyer from July 2004 to August 2005, where they purchased raw materials for manufacturing and finished goods for distribution. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Coordinator for New Product Introduction at InFocus from June 2001 to December 2001. Jason began their career at IBM as a Materials Planner from March 1999 to June 2001, where they managed the repair and service spares supply chain.

Through their various roles, Jason has gained extensive experience in operations, supply chain management, planning, and procurement. Jason has demonstrated leadership skills and has contributed to strategic decision-making processes.

Jason Mottaz attended the University of Portland from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science.
