Amr Ismail

Amr Ismail's work experience includes serving as a Principal DSP Engineer at CesiumAstro since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at VIAVI Solutions as a Staff Algorithm Engineer from July 2022 to June 2023, and as a Senior Algorithm Engineer from August 2020 to June 2022. Amr also worked at Toshiba Research Europe Limited, where they held various positions including Principal Research Engineer from April 2019 to July 2020, Senior Research Engineer from April 2016 to March 2019, and Research Engineer from June 2014 to March 2016. Earlier in their career, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at KAUST from April 2012 to May 2014.

Amr Ismail has a strong educational background in the field of engineering, specifically in telecommunications. Amr obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Following this, they pursued further education at CentraleSupélec, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from 2006 to 2008. Amr Ismail continued their academic journey at CentraleSupélec and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from 2008 to 2011.
