Steven Scheichet

Steven Scheichet, CFP ®, AIF®, J.D. has a diverse work experience. Steven started their career in 1997 as an Attorney at Fried Frank, where they worked until 2000. In 2000, they joined Cetera Advisor Networks, LLC as a Regional Director and Investment Advisor Representative. Steven managed a financial planning practice, supervised and trained registered representatives, and advised clients on complex estate and financial issues. In 2009, they established their own law firm, Scheichet & Associates, LLC, where they worked as an Attorney until 2021.

Steven Scheichet, CFP ®, AIF®, J.D., holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, which they obtained from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Union College from 1986 to 1989. In addition to their educational background, Steven has obtained various certifications including Accredited Investment Fiduciary from fi360 in 2015, Certified Financial Planner from CFP Board in 2005, General Securities Representative Exam Series 7, General Securities Principal Exam Series 24, Municipal Securities Principal Exam Series 53, and Uniform State Securities Agent Exam Series 63 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2000. Steven also holds a Life and Health Insurance License from the State of New Jersey and has been certified as an Attorney by the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division since 1992.
