Jose Buitron

Jose Buitron has a diverse work experience in the Animal Health and Nutrition industry. Jose started their career at Malta Cleyton in 1997, where they served as a Key Account Manager and developed sales and marketing strategies for key accounts. Jose then joined Bayer Animal Health Mexico in 2001 as a Key Account Manager, responsible for managing sanitary programs and introducing new products in the market. In 2006, they became a Regional Sales Manager at Evonik Mexico, where they coordinated marketing, sales, and technical campaigns within the assigned area.

In 2012, Jose joined Adisseo Mexico as a Commercial Manager, overseeing the sales budget and developing commercial and marketing strategies. Jose then moved to Ceva Animal Health Mexico in 2013 as a Poultry Business Unit Manager, where they were responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies and achieving financial and operational objectives.

In 2016, Jose joined Biomin as the Country Managing Director, leading the M&A of Biomin Mexico and taking on management and P&L responsibilities. Jose implemented innovative campaigns, developed a technical services platform, and conducted market intelligence analysis to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.

Most recently, in 2022, Jose joined CEVA SALUD ANIMAL as the Poultry Business Unit Director. With their extensive experience as an Agronomist Engineer and specialization in livestock care, Jose brings valuable skills in vaccination, technical services, sales, management, coaching, and marketing. Jose has a solid network with key opinion leaders and market influencers and a proven track record in developing businesses.

Jose Buitron obtained an International Executive Certified Coach degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2019. In 2011, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing/Gestión de marketing, general from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, A.C. Prior to that, they attended Think! Inc in 2009 for a Strategic Negotiation Workshop and IMPAX in 2008 for Strategic Account Sales Training. In 2001, Jose earned a Poultry Production Diploma from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and in 1996, they received a degree as an Agronomist Engineer Specialist in Livestock from Universidad Autónoma Chapingo.
