Pavel Penaz

Pavel Penaz has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Legislation and Regulation Department at ČEZ since February 2017, and as a Regulation, Legislation and Market Rules Expert. Prior to this role, Pavel worked as a Foreign Regulatory Affairs Specialist at ČEZ, a.s. from March 2016 to February 2017, focusing on regulatory strategies for foreign acquisitions. Previous experience includes a Senior Consultant position at Deloitte Advisory, where participation in projects addressed regulatory issues in the electricity networks industry and energy market legislation from July 2009 to March 2016. Early in the career, involvement at The Energy Regulatory Office centered on electricity regulation and tariffs, and a role as an Assistant management company at Tesla ElectronTubes from January 2008 to June 2009. Pavel holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Management of Power Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague.
