Isabelle de Bruyne

Chief Sustainability Officer at CFE

Isabelle De Bruyne has a diverse work experience. Isabelle started their career in 2001 as a Trainee at IAESTE. In 2002, they joined CFE as a Project Engineer, where they worked on various projects, including structural work, finishing work, and civil engineering. In 2006, they briefly worked as a Planning and Methods Engineer at CFE. In 2012, they became a Project Manager at CFE, overseeing projects until 2018 when they were promoted to Project Director. In 2019, they were appointed as the Chief Sustainability Officer at CFE. In 2021, they joined CBFI as a Member, and in 2022, they became a Guest Lecturer at Université libre de Bruxelles.

Isabelle De Bruyne attended Vlerick Business School in 2018 for a leadership development program called "Building the future (CFE)". In 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in gestion des grands travaux de construction (construction management) from ULB-VUB-ADEB, which they completed in 2008. Their earlier education includes a Master's degree in ingénierie (engineering) with a specialization in construction engineering from the Université libre de Bruxelles, which they obtained between 1997 and 2002.
