Bernie Lubran has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Bernie started their career in 1975 as Deputy Vice President at the Export-Import Bank of the United States, where they were responsible for Business Development, Product Development, and Customer Service. Bernie played a key role in multilateral debt negotiations at the Paris Club and trade credit negotiations at the OECD. After working at the Eximbank for 24 years, Bernie joined the U.S. Department of the Treasury in 1999 as a Project Manager in the Federal Consulting Group. Bernie served as project manager for the Excellence in Customer Service Initiative. In 2004, Bernie started their own financial advisory firm called DeVille Consulting Services, where they provided financial advisory services to high net-worth individuals and was one of the top performers in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In 2006, they joined ForeSee as a Regional Manager for the Federal Government, where they helped the company grow its client list and became known for its benchmarking insights. Bernie continued their career as a Regional Manager at CFI Group in 2014 and as a Volunteer at Meals on Wheels America in 2017.

Bernie Lubran attended Kent State University from 1965 to 1969, where they obtained a BBA degree in Finance and Political Science. Bernie then pursued their MBA in International Economics at the NYU Stern School of Business from 1969 to 1972. Additionally, in 1970 to 1971, they briefly attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
