Christian Palacios

Christian Palacios has a strong background in IT systems administration, with experience spanning multiple companies. Christian began their career at Reveal.ca as a Web Developer from June 2002 to April 2006. Christian then worked at Acceleware Corp. as an IT Systems Administrator from April 2006 to March 2010. Palacios joined Fugro Data Solutions Canada Inc. as a Senior IT Systems Administrator in August 2009 and stayed there until January 2013. Since February 2013, they have been with CGG, where they have held various roles including Senior IT Systems Administrator, Global IT Manager SDS, Cloud Architect, and currently serves as the Cloud Services Team Lead.

Christian Palacios attended various educational institutions and acquired certifications over the years. In 1995-1998, they studied at DeVry Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. In 2007, Christian attended CED Solutions Computer Training Center and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in Information Technology. Christian furthered their education in 2012-2013 at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, focusing on Introduction to Management. In 2013, they completed courses in Business Mathematics and Introductory Financial Accounting I. In 2014, Christian studied Introduction to Business at the same institute, followed by a course in Finance for Managers in 2015. In 2017, they pursued a degree in Information Technology from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, specializing in Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions. In 2018, they acquired skills in Junos Space-Security Director (JS-SD) - ILO at Juniper Networks. Additionally, Christian obtained certifications including Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in 2022 and Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions in 2020.
