Sylvain Roman

Sylvain Roman has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Sylvain is currently working as the VP of DC and IT operations at CGG since November 2021. In this role, they manage projects and programs related to data centers, IT operations services, HR, cyber security, customer experience, and continual service improvement.

Before joining CGG, from July 2020 to November 2021, Sylvain worked as the DSI/CIO - Transition Manager at Parteam. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance DSI/CIO Consultant & Management de Transition from November 2015 to June 2020, where they were involved in strategic IT projects, IT transformation, and IT architecture.

From June 2013 to October 2015, Sylvain served as the IT Governance Director at CGG. Sylvain also worked as a consultant freelance at High Resiliency IT services - H.R.I.T.S from April 2009 to June 2013.

Earlier in their career, Sylvain held various positions at ECS, including Director of BU IT Managed Services from January 2006 to March 2009, Director of the European Customer Support Center from January 2002 to January 2006, and Director of the Customer Support Center from March 2000 to January 2002.

Sylvain started their career as a Chef de Projet and Consultant Ingénieur Système et Réseaux Mainframe at an SSII company in 1986 and remained there until 1998. Sylvain also worked as the Responsable de Services Mainframe at ECS from January 1998 to January 2000.

Overall, Sylvain Roman has extensive experience in IT operations, project management, IT governance, IT consulting, and IT architecture.

Sylvain Roman earned a Master's degree in IT-Management from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers between 1986 and 1989.
