Federico Miorelli

Federico Miorelli has extensive work experience in the field of geophysics and software development. Federico'smost recent position was at CGG as the Head of Business Operations for HPC and Cloud Solutions. Prior to this, they held various roles at CGG, including Head of Digital Solutions and Technical and Business Manager for Cloud Services and Software Hub. Before joining CGG, Federico worked as a Research Geophysicist at Saudi Aramco, where they conducted research and implemented processing and modeling algorithms. Federico also worked as a Senior R&D Geophysicist at both CGG and Fugro EM Italy, where they specialized in electromagnetic geophysical data analysis and modeling. Additionally, Federico has experience as an R&D Geophysicist at Schlumberger, where they developed signal processing and modeling algorithms for electromagnetic geophysics. Federico started their career as a Consultant at xidera while still a student.

Federico Miorelli has a strong educational background with a focus on telecommunications engineering. Federico obtained their B.Sc. (110 cum laude) in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2004. Federico then went on to earn an M.Sc. (109/110) in Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution in 2008. In 2019, Federico attended CEDEP - Executive Development in Fontainebleau to pursue a degree in Mastering Business Excellence.

In addition to their formal education, Federico has also obtained several certifications in various fields, including cloud migration, data engineering, NoSQL, AWS essentials, machine learning, project management, and petroleum exploration and production.
