Tom Hewitt

Tom Hewitt has a diverse work experience in the fields of data management and petroleum geology. Tom is currently working at CGG as the Head of Data Hub, where they founded and leads a team that transforms and enriches large volumes of unstructured data into curated databases and dashboards for subsurface analysis. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Data Architect at CGG, where they initiated a digital transformation program focused on legacy data formats and designed a data architecture connecting multiple live data systems. Before joining CGG, Tom worked at Robertson as an ERGO Manager, managing geological projects for global oil and gas companies. Tom also has experience as a Petroleum Geologist at Fugro Robertson Ltd. Throughout their career, Tom has shown a strong interest in data architecture, digital transformation, and building effective teams.
