Sanjay Kumar

Sanjay Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and technical leadership. Sanjay started their career as a Corporate Trainer at karROX Technologies Ltd. in 2008. From there, they gained experience as a Senior Consultant and Websphere SME at Daimler AG, where they had responsibilities such as technical support, automation of deployments, shell scripting, and administration of WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server. In 2015, they joined IBM India Private Limited as a Websphere SME.

In 2016, Sanjay moved to Fidelity Investments as a Lead System Engineer (DevOps), where they certified middleware products, developed custom RPM packages, and deployed applications using Docker Swarm. Sanjay then joined Platz IT GmBH as a DevOps Engineer in 2017, where they installed and configured SAP Hybris Ecommerce Solution, automated deployments using Ansible and Rundeck, and onboarded projects for different customers.

In 2018, Sanjay joined iC Consult as a Consultant (DevOps Engineer), where they managed Kubernetes clusters and designed and integrated logging and monitoring solutions using ELK stack, Splunk, and Prometheus. Sanjay also developed and maintained a Public Health Page solution.

In 2021, Sanjay joined HCL Technologies as a Senior Technical Lead, where they worked on migration projects, including migrating Openshift to Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service and migrating databases to Azure's managed database service. Sanjay also designed and implemented SNI proxy solutions in Azure.

Currently, Sanjay is working at CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA as a DevOps Team Lead, where they manage a DevOps team and AWS infrastructure, including provisioning AWS resources and setting up load balancers, EC2 instances, and VPCs.

Sanjay Kumar obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as deploying resources to GCP with Terraform, HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, implementing a full CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins pipelines, Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer, Elasticsearch Deep Dive, Elastic Engineer I, Cloud Native Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), DevSecOps Essential, Elastic Stack Essentials, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Sanjay also obtained a certification in WebSphere Administration from IBM.
