An Truong's work experience begins with a role as a Leadership Workshop Staff Member & Council Leader at Bayside High School. Later, they held various positions within the Bayside High School Student Cooperative Association, including Senior Class Vice President, Junior Class Vice President, Sophomore Class Secretary, and Freshman Class Historian. In 2022, An Truong gained experience in medical settings through roles such as PA Shadowing at Mid Atlantic Dermatology & Laser Center and MD Shadowing at Fresenius Kidney Care Nimmo Parkway Dialysis Center. They also worked as a Cashier at RITE AID and as a Childcare Worker at Grace Baptist Church. In 2022, An Truong began their involvement with CHAARG, where they served as the VCU CHAARG VP Media and the VCU CHAARG Small Group Coordinator.
