Joel Chan Thaw

Joel Chan Thaw has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Joel started their career in 2007 as a Sales Manager at Dolce Hotels & Resorts and later moved on to become a Groups & Meetings Sales Manager at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. In 2008, they worked as a Consultant Quality at Cabinet Adéquation. From 2009 to 2014, they held various roles at Louvre Hotels Group and Pullman Hotels & Resorts, including Executive Assistant Manager and Rooms Division Manager. Joel then served as Deputy General Manager at Novotel Paris Les Halles from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Joel became a General Manager at citizenM hotels and later held the same position at Le Grand Quartier from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, they have been working as the Chief Operating Officer at Chabé since 2023.

Joel Chan Thaw obtained a degree in Business Administration Management from Institut Universitaire de Technologie - Orleans, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Marketing and Management in Tourism from Esig-EST, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.
