Upper School Dean Of Students 9th And 10th Grades at Chadwick School

Marielle Sallo serves as the Upper School Dean of Students for 9th and 10th grades at Chadwick School since August 2018 and holds positions as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Social Work at Mount Saint Mary's University and a Senior Instructor in the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University. Prior experience includes a decade at San Gabriel Mission High School, where roles ranged from Principal to various teaching positions in Algebra I, Chemistry, Psychology, and AP courses, as well as serving as Academic Counselor and Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction. Additional experience includes teaching for Support for International Change in Tanzania and working as a Program Assistant for UCLA-IHS GEAR UP, supporting high school students in their pursuit of higher education. Marielle Sallo earned a Doctorate in Education Leadership from UCLA and holds a Master’s in Secondary Education from Loyola Marymount University, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Applied Science from UCLA.
