Rhyan Davis

Rhyan Davis has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Starting as a Teacher at Hampton City Schools, Rhyan managed and maintained documentation for 15 students with Individualized Education Plans and raised over $750 for classroom supplies and resources. From 2014 to 2018, Rhyan worked as a PYP Teacher and Stage Production Manager at GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi, where they collaborated to plan and implement lessons for 50 students using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, estimated costs for props and anticipated ticket sales to create a budget and maintained documentation for accounts auditing, and negotiated a 50% increase in production budget from the previous year. From 2018 to 2022, Rhyan worked as a PYP Teacher and MUN Coordinator at Dwight School, where they collaborated to plan and implement lessons for 60 students using Google Suite, received outstanding annual reviews and 95% positive feedback from parent and student satisfaction surveys, and was responsible for planning all aspects of international travel for groups of 15-20. Most recently, Rhyan has worked as a Partnerships Coordinator at Chain.io, a Project Analyst at obo., and a Project Business Analyst. As a Project Analyst, Rhyan conducted interviews with stakeholders in order to create BPMN diagrams, authored clear and concise user stories based on stakeholder goals and requirements, and created copy for email and business landing pages. As a Project Business Analyst, Rhyan collaborated with the communications team to execute events, online advertising, and branding, led a team in implementing ServiceNow system integration, and wrote clear and concise user stories after gathering requirements from stakeholders.

Rhyan Davis holds a Master of Science (MS) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Saint Joseph's University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Temple University. In addition, Rhyan has obtained a variety of certifications, including Foundations of Project Management and Foundations of User Experience Design from Google in April 2022, Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in April 2022, Intro to Service Management with ITIL® 4 from LinkedIn in February 2022, Apple Teacher from Apple in May 2019, Elementary Education K-6 Teacher from the Virginia Department of Education in July 2021, Google Educator - Level from Google in December 2021, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in February 2022.
