Kirby Koo

Kirby Koo has worked in a variety of roles in the social media and marketing communications space. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator at Pandora, followed by a role in Social Media, Industry Cloud at SAP from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they served as Executive Communications & Global Marketing at WorkForce Software, and then as Social Media Marketing Communications Lead at DigitalOcean from 2019 to 2022. They also had a summer internship at eBay in 2014, where they developed a marketing communications plan and wrote, starred, and produced a welcome video. Currently, they are working as Social & Community Relations at Chainguard, Inc.

Kirby Koo obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Communications/Marketing from Columbia University between 2013 and 2015. Kirby is currently enrolled in Harvard Business School Online to pursue a Sustainable Business Strategy degree. Kirby obtained a BA in International Studies and Economics from UC San Diego in 2010.
