Roland Troyan

Roland Troyan is a biologist at Chambers Group, Inc., conducting surveys on nesting birds, local flora, and fish at the Big Tujunga wash restoration site while monitoring environmental compliance. Previously, Roland served as a program assistant at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles and held various roles at Loyola Marymount University, including laboratory support associate, undergraduate research assistant, and teaching assistant. Responsibilities encompassed hiring and mentoring student workers, coordinating laboratory operations, conducting research in coastal ecology, and ensuring safety in biology labs. Additional experience includes working as a laser technician, preparing treatment equipment and supervising new technicians, and serving as an administrative assistant at Walden West Outdoor School Foundation, focusing on environmental education. Roland earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University.
