Andreia Otake is a highly experienced scientific researcher affiliated with Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo - ICESP since July 2009 and serves as a visiting researcher at Champalimaud Foundation since March 2018. Andreia previously held the position of visiting scientist at Duke Cancer Institute from November 2015 to May 2016, focusing on a project related to the role of ATM and DNApk knockout in radio-sensitivity of colon carcinoma cell lines. Educational qualifications include a postdoctoral fellowship in Experimental Oncology and a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
