Olivia Price is a highly experienced epidemiologist and researcher currently serving as a Research Officer at the University of New South Wales since September 2019 and as a Consultant Epidemiologist for the World Health Organization's South East Asia Regional Office since November 2019. Olivia's expertise includes data analysis, surveillance system evaluation, and training in data management. Olivia has also worked as a Data Capture professional for Champion Data since January 2019, capturing Australian rules football statistics. Previous roles include Epidemiologist at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza, an Epidemiology Intern with the World Health Organization, and Research Assistant at the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory. Olivia holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from UNSW, a Master of Public Health focused on Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and both a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Virology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Infection from the University of Melbourne.
