Karin Abarca Heidemann, PhD has a diverse background in biochemistry and molecular biology, with extensive experience in scientific operations and research. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President, Global Scientific Operations at Champions Oncology, Inc., Karin has also held various leadership roles in companies such as Rockland Immunochemicals Inc. and the Department of Biochemistry School of Medicine at Temple University. With a strong foundation in protein and RNA dynamics using NMR-spectroscopy, Karin's academic achievements include a Dr. rer nat in Biochemistry from the University of Cologne. Additionally, Karin has completed a certificate in Leadership & Management from The Wharton School.
