Alexandr Kalinin

Alexandr Kalinin, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Biohub since October 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Computational Scientist II and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from February 2022 to September 2025, and as an International Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Shenzhen Research Institute of Big Data while collaborating with the University of Michigan from November 2019 to November 2021. Alexandr's academic background includes a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Michigan, complemented by a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Novosibirsk State Technical University. Additional experience encompasses positions as a Fulbright Visiting Researcher at UCLA, Software Developer at Softomate and Express Payment System, and a delegate at the Stanford US-Russia Forum.
