Amie Long has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Amie Long, started their career as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Residential of Maryland in 2001. Amie Long, then moved on to become a Program Manager at Safe Journey House from 2001 to 2004. After that, they worked as a Care Coordinator and later as a Corporate Training Manager at Business Health Services from 2004 to 2013. During this time, they developed and delivered various training programs and managed a library of training materials. From 2013 to 2014, they served as the Executive Director at Safe Journey House, where they ensured the smooth operation of a crisis residential program and handled HR responsibilities. In 2014, they joined Business Health Services again, this time as an EAP Program Manager, where they implemented and executed program deliverables. Currently, they are working at Chaney Enterprises as the Director of Learning and Development, spearheading the integration of a multifaceted learning approach and overseeing the establishment and integration of a Learning Management System. Amie has proven expertise in human resources, learning and development, program management, crisis counseling, and employee assistance programs. Amie Long, has strong skills in budgeting, personnel management, and training delivery.

Amie Long, SHRM-SCP, LCSW-C, completed their education chronologically as follows:

Amie Long, graduated from Parkdale High School in 1996. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Maryland and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies, which they completed from 1996 to 2000.

In 2001, Amie enrolled at the University of Maryland Baltimore and earned a Master of Social Work degree specializing in Social Work. Amie Long, completed their Master's program from 2001 to 2004.

Amie also holds additional certifications. In December 2017, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Amie Long, also obtained the LCSW-C (Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Certified) certification from the Maryland Board of Social Work in 2004.
